The four renovated plaster corners on the ceiling of this room, belong to the decoration of the “Doxato” ceiling.

Together with the central rosette, they remind the official use of the 2nd floor lounge.
Here is another traditional feature of the local interior called “Stolios”.
“Stolios” is a type of drawer above the staircase, useful to the needs of the upper floor.
Just look and study the desk, an original piece of furniture in the mayor’s residence, saved here since the 1859.
The oil painting in a Greek traditional dress above the desk reminds of the roots of the family… and the brass lamp on the desk, sends its light to the oil painting and the Greek beauty!

The chess table is an English antique bought in an auction.
… recycling of the Athenian aristocracy of the last century…

The collection of ships, reminds of the local sailors, bringing all kinds of gifts to the house from faraway lands!

The bridal sleepers, hand embroidered by granny for the beloved daughter of the family who left to marry in America.
…and the gaps were filled with the photos of the immigrated beauty, and the sleepers became a decorative memory!...

Another pair of sleepers, embroidered with s beads! They were the Sunday sleepers of the lady of the house, placed with respect on the marble table with a big lamp and the silk brocade cover, bringing memories and a touch of the far-east.

The bridal velvet robe, coming from the Middle-east, all embroidered with gold thread, it was a gift to the great grandfather of the owner Maria Diamond, when he was teaching in Maditos.

What a wonderful memory of acknowledgement and love to their teacher, the patriot!...

… And the cradle holding the owner’s mother dolly, suits the spot of memories!...
